About

What We Believe

Scripture
We believe in the divine authority, inspiration, inerrancy, clarity, and sufficiency of Scripture. God’s Word is the ultimate authority and must be proclaimed faithfully, accurately, and regularly.

Salvation
We believe that salvation is the gracious gift of God by which he raises spiritually dead sinners to new life in Christ. Salvation from sin cannot be earned through human effort but is freely received through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He is the one and only Lord and Savior who took on flesh, was born of the Virgin Mary, lived in perfect obedience to the Father, died a substitutionary death on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day, and ascended into heaven. He is the centerpiece of our faith and worship.

The Church
We believe that the local church is a community of baptized believers who have repented of sin and placed their total faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Christ has commissioned his church to go and make disciples of all nations and thus the work of the church should primarily consist of the edification of the saints and the evangelization of the lost.
